NEW ORLEANS - The Sun Belt Conference released the seedings and pairings for this week's conference tournament in Boca Raton, and the Troy Trojans earned the seventh seed overall after battling their way through the second half of the season to get into the tournament.

The Trojans will face the University of Denver for the second time this season.  Troy lost to the Pioneers 1-0 on the road early in October, giving up a goal in the first minute of action.  Denver leads the all-time series with Troy 5-0, including this season's victory, but won the last two meetings by just a single goal in each match.

The Trojans are coming off a regular season in which they set the school record for conference wins in a season, and will be making their second trip to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.  It will be the first trip under current head coach Chris Bentley, and the first trip for the Trojans to the tournament since 2005.

In that 2005 tournament, the Trojans were eliminated in the opening round by Middle Tennessee, losing 1-0 in double overtime.

The match between Denver and Troy will start at 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday afternoon, and can be seen on SBC Extra for a cost of $9.95.

In other games during the tournament's round of action, top-seeded FIU will play eighth-seeded UALR at 10 am EST; followed at 1 p.m. by fourth-seeded North Texas and fifth-seeded Middle Tennessee.  The night cap of the tournament will feature third-seeded WKU and sixth-seeded Arkansas State.
