Natasha Kolunija Named AVSR Player Of The Week

DENVER, Colo. - Junior transfer Natasha Kolunija was named American Volleyball Scouting Report Global Player of the Week for her efforts in conference play this past weekend.
Kolunija recorded 24 kills this weekend, setting a new career high 16 kills in the win against ULM. She had a .404 attack percentage this weekend, recording a .500 attack percentage againts the Warhawks of ULM. Kolunija also had six digs and two blocks on the weekend.
Kolunija currently stands second on the team in kills with 146, only four behind leader sophomore Devin Von Pingel. Kolunija is also tied for first on the team in total blocks on the season with 36.
"We are excited for Natasha, " head volleyball coach Sonny Kirkpatrick said, "She has played very well for us this season and we are honored that she is receiving this award."
She and the rest of the Trojans will be in action again Tuesday night at home against Georgia State University. The match begins at 6 pm and admission is free.
