Men’s Tennis Continues at Southern Regional

AUBURN, Ala. – The Troy men's tennis team continued competition at the USTA/ITA Southern Regional held at Auburn on Friday, with several Trojans advancing in their draws.
Mansingh Athare won two matches in the singles consolation bracket. He defeated Paulo Alvarado in the first round 7-5, 2-6, 6-2, and Michael Wardell in the second round, 7-6, 6-4.
Anas Rouchdi also won in the second round of the consolation bracket, defeating Rens Van Der Vis 6-2, 6-4.
Two doubles partners also moved on, in Andres Sanchez and Josh Hurd, and Sami Ghorbel and Andres Stabile.
The Trojans continue competition at the USTA/ITA Southern Regional tomorrow.
