#NOLABound Coming to Troy this Saturday

TROY, Ala. – The Sun Belt Conference brings a bit of New Orleans to Troy on Saturday with its #NOLABound Tailgate Tour, beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the pracitce court of Trojan Arena.

ESPN2 will also be in town, as the Troy's men's hoops game against SBC leader Georgia State at 5 p.m. will be the first ever to be televised live from the new Trojan Arena. The women's basketball team will also host Georgia State, at 7:45.

The tailgate event, will feature games, social media contests and a homemade jambalaya recipe professionally prepared by the "New Orleans Jambalaya Girl" and Cook Me Somethin' Mister! owner Kristen Preau.

Along with free samples of Preau's famous homemade jambalaya recipe, fans and students will be able to grab some free Sun Belt Conference #NOLABound giveaways including bottle openers, koozies, sunglasses and gym bags. There will also be a photo area for fans to dress up in Mardi Gras garb and post photos to Instagram and Twitter using the hashtage #NOLABound to earn prizes. Top prizes include hotel stays at select New Orleans hotels, passes to city tourist attractions, restaurant gift cards and free sauces and spices from New Orleans staples.

Women's basketball takes on Western Kentucky at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, while the men face the Hilltoppers at 7 on Thursday.
