Troy Baseball to Host ‘Hits for Heroes’ Game

TROY, Alabama – Troy head coach Bobby Pierce announced on Tuesday that the Troy University baseball team will host a 'Hits for Heroes' game on Saturday, Feb. 28 against Southern Mississippi. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
Hits for Heroes is an organization aimed at raising awareness and money for soldiers in need of support, encouragement and supplies. This year, Hits for Heroes partnered with the USO in order to send care packages at the highest efficiency.
The game in Troy will feature camouflage uniforms worn by both Troy and Southern Mississippi; fans will also have the opportunity to purchase T-shirts for $10. Special presentations and acknowledgements will take place throughout the game. Admission to the game is FREE and donations to Hits for Heroes will be accepted.
