Troy Finalizes 2016 & 2018 Non-Conference Football Schedules

TROY, Alabama – Troy has finalized its non-conference football schedule for the 2016 and 2018 seasons with the addition of Austin Peay and Presbyterian, Athletic Director John Hartwell announced Wednesday. Troy will host Austin Peay on Sept. 3, 2016, and host Presbyterian on Sept. 8, 2018, in Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Troy and Austin Peay have met 16 previous times with the Trojans holding an 8-7-1 advantage in the series. It will be the first meeting between the two schools since a 41-3 Troy victory in 2002; the series dates back to 1947.
Troy and Presbyterian met each year from 1962 to 1965 with the schools splitting the four meetings.
