Trojans Travel to Dothan to Face Thomas University

TROY, Alabama – Following a four-day layoff, the Troy women's basketball team returns to action against Thomas (NAIA) on Monday at the Dothan Civic Center, tipoff is set for 6 p.m.

The Trojans (1-1) are coming off a 91-74 victory over Belmont on Wednesday, in which senior Jayla Chills paced the squad with 21 points, seven rebounds and five steals – all career-highs. Chills scored seven of the team's first nine points in leading the team to a 29-point fourth quarter lead over the preseason favorites from the Ohio Valley Conference.

Thomas just wrapped up a two-game, Sun Conference weekend. The Night Hawks fell to Warner University on Thursday before rebounding to defeat Ave Maria, 66-56 on Saturday.
