Troy Volleyball Hosts Open Practice, Including Fan Engagement

TROY, Alabama – As volleyball season edges closer, the Troy volleyball team will open the final 30 minutes of practice to the public on Thursday at Trojan Arena with a fan engagement portion to follow.

Trojan Arena will be open at 4:30 p.m., for fans to enter and view the final minutes of practice. At 5 p.m., the fans are welcomed to the court for a meet and greet, along with a serving competition and other activities.

Also, Fan Day will be hosted from 2-4 p.m. in Trojan Arena on Saturday as members of the football, volleyball, soccer and cross country teams will be on hand, along with the Troy cheerleaders and T-Roy, to pose for pictures and sign autographs. Team posters will be provided for fans and there will be inflatable games for kids to play on.

The Trojan volleyball team will begin their season by traveling to Johnson City, Tenn., to take part in the ETSU Tournament. They will open the season with USC Upstate on Friday, August 26 at 3 p.m.

Troy will host its first match in Trojan Arena on Tuesday, August 30 at 6 p.m., against Southeastern Louisiana before hosting the Trojan Invitational on September 2-3.
