Softball Announces Fall Schedule

TROY, Alabama – Troy has set its 2016 fall schedule for softball, hosting eight games on four weekends at the Troy Softball Complex, head coach Beth Mullins announced Tuesday.Â

"I am excited about the fall schedule we have put together this year," said Mullins. "I think it will allow us to go out there and compete, gauge where we are, and see the things we are excelling at and the things we need to get better at."
The Trojans are set open the fall season with a doubleheader against Chipola CC on Friday September 23. Game times are set for 4 and 6 p.m.

On Saturday October 8, the Trojans will play a double header against Northwest Florida at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. The following weekend, the Trojans will host Gulf Coast CC and AUM at 4 and 6 p.m. Troy will wrap up the fall season on Friday, October 21 with a doubleheader against Southern Union. The first game time is set for 4 p.m.

The Trojans have added five incoming freshmen and two transfers to this year's squad.

"Our newcomers have done a great job so far integrating into the team and our system," said Mullins. "The fall games will also give them a great opportunity to get some experience."
