Â
QUOTABLE
"Every player on the team contributed in some way this weekend," head coach Beth Mullins said. "When you have all 17 of your players do a job and contribute, it gives everyone confidence. The pitchers really brought the bullpen out there and trusted their defense, and I thought they did a really good job and fought hard. When you can put up as many runs as we did this weekend, it gives your pitching staff the confidence to go out there and get the job done."
Â
UP NEXT
Troy returns to the field on Tuesday as they travel to Montgomery, Ala., to face Alabama State. The game is set for 5 p.m. CT. The Trojans then return back home Feb. 24-26 to host the Troy Classic, which will feature games against Lipscomb, Southeastern Louisiana and Pittsburgh.
