Troy Cheerleading announces tryout and clinic dates

TROY, Ala. – The Troy cheerleading program has announced that it will hold tryouts for its 2021-22 team and hold one clinic for high school aged kids. Masks will be mandatory for all participants at both the clinic and tryouts as well as temperature checks at the door.
The clinic, which is opened to high school athletes grades 9-12, will be held on Sunday, April 18th at Riddle-Pace Field located on the Troy University campus. The clinic will start at 1 p.m. and run through 4 p.m. and will cost $40 per person.
Those interested in trying out for the 2021-22 cheerleading team should make plans to attend the three tryout dates that start Friday, May 7 and run through Sunday, May 9. Times and locations for each tryout date are listed below:
• Friday, May 7
Location: Elm Street Gym
Check-in: 4 p.m.
Tryouts: 5-9 p.m.
• Saturday, May 8th
Interviews All Day
Open Gym: 5-8 p.m. in Trojan Arena
• Sunday, May 9
Location: Trojan Arena
Doors Open at 10 a.m.
Tryouts begin at 11 a.m.
