Eight Troy Softball Games to be Aired on ESPN3

TROY, Alabama – For the first time in Troy softball history, eight home games for the 2018 season will be aired on ESPN3. As part of its expanding coverage of Division I softball, ESPN will spotlight more than 650 games throughout the season.

ESPN3 is ESPN's live multi-screen sports network, a destination that delivers thousands of exclusive sports events annually. It is accessible online at WatchESPN.com and on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app.

The ESPN3 lineup will feature two Sun Belt conference series against Georgia Southern and UL Lafayette, as well as both of Troy's match ups against SEC opponents Auburn and Mississippi State.

    Auburn – February 14 (5 p.m.)
    Georgia Southern- March 10 (1 p.m.)
    Georgia Southern- March 10 (3 p.m.)
    Georgia Southern- March 11 (12 p.m.)

    UL Lafayette- March 24 (3 p.m.)
    UL Lafayette- March 25 (12 p.m.)

As part of a new feature this season, all other home games will be streamed on Facebook Live, with no cost to viewers.

Troy begins the 2018 season at home as it hosts the Trojan Classic Feb. 9-11. The Trojans will welcome Tennessee State, SIUE, Valparaiso and Alabama State, and will make their season debut on Friday, Feb. 9Â against Tennessee State at 5:30 p.m. Admission to all home games is free.
