Troy Basketball Announces Promotions For Final Home Games

Troy, Ala. – With just two home games left in the regular season, Troy men's and women's basketball announced a slew of promotions for the games against UL Lafayette on Thursday and ULM on Saturday in Trojan Arena.

Both teams have been on a tear lately with the women's team winning seven of the past eight and the men's team securing four of the past five victories. The final four games in conference play are crucial in the push to secure a first-round bye in the Sun Belt Tournament from March 6-11 in New Orleans, La.

Please find the scheduled list of promotions below. UL Lafayette is the current conference leader on the men's side and will be a Sun Belt Title rematch for the women's game while Saturday's contest against ULM will be highlighted by Senior Day festivities.

Thursday vs. UL Lafayette at 5 p.m. / 7:15 p.m.
• All general admission tickets are $5 and kids aged 12 and under will get in for free

• The first 100 students get a Troy t-shirt while the next 300 students get free McDonald's coupons

• Prizes throughout the game as part of student appreciation night includes one $250 gift card to Barnes & Noble and two $100 gift cards to Barnes & Noble

• The Hoopcoming King will be crowned during the men's basketball game

• A paper airplane toss will be held to win free airfare from Montgomery Regional Airport

• Food specials include $2 pizza, hot dogs and soft drinks

Saturday vs. ULM at 2 p.m. / 4:15 p.m.
• Senior Day for both basketball teams and the cheerleading team

• The cheerleaders Senior Day will be held at halftime of the women's basketball game, the women's basketball Senior Day will be held at halftime of the men's basketball game and the men's Senior Day will be prior to tipoff of their game.

• All general admission tickets are $5 and kids aged 12 and under will get in for free

• The first 500 fans will receive free pizza

• Approximately 20-25 former players from Coach John Archer's teams (1956-73) will be honored during halftime of the men's basketball game

• Season ticket holders can request up to four complimentary tickets to the game and will win prizes throughout by means of prize drawings. RSVP to Tanner Stewart (astewart129805@troy.edu) at Friday by 5 p.m.

• All faculty and staff members may also request up to two complimentary tickets by RSVPing to Tanner Stewart by Friday at 5 p.m.

• A paper airplane toss will be held to win free airfare from Montgomery Regional Airport

• Food specials include $2 tacos, burgers and soft drinks.
