WEAR YOUR CARDINAL: The place to get your football fix this fall is at Veterans Memorial Stadium, where the Trojans take on some of the best the Sun Belt and the Conference-USA have to offer. The Trojans open the season with the "Battle for the Palladium" as Middle Tennessee visits Veterans Memorial Stadium. Gameday isn't just about football. It's a celebration of Trojan sports and Cardinal Pride. Veterans Memorial Stadium is the pride of that celebration on Saturdays, so wear your Cardinal and show your Trojan Pride.
GAMEDAY: Trojan football isn't just a game, it is an event. This season, the football experience has spilled over into the baseball stadium and onto the concourse. Before the game, let the kids have some fun in the Kids Zone, which located in the outfield of Riddle-Pace Field ... also the same place where you, the fans can get autographs and take pictures of your favorite non-football student-athletes. On the concourse, make sure and stop by the apparel store located at the main entrance of Veterans Memorial Stadium. There will also be an information booth located at the main entrance to the stadium where fans can sign up for promotions and get information on the stadium, as well as get security if needed.
TROJAN WALK: Trojan walk is taking a different route in 2011. It will start at Sartain Hall, continue through Tailgate Terrace and end at the South Gate of Veterans Memorial. As usual, Trojan Walk will begin 2 hours and 15 minutes prior to kickoff. Players will be led by the Sound of the South, the Trojan cheerleaders and head coach Larry Blakeney. This is your first chance of the day to catch the Trojans, BE THERE!!
CARDINAL PRIDE: Trojan athletes feed off the noise and emotion TROY fans provide - that's why it is called "home field advantage." The Trojans need your support as they take on their Sun Belt Conference rivals and make a run at their sixth consecutive conference championship. Arrive early, wear cardinal and make some noise!
TAILGATE TERRACE: The area outside the leftfield fence at Riddle-Pace Field, leading to the main entrance to Veterans Memorial Stadium, has been completely renovated. Patrons who have, in the past, been able to drive vehicles into that area will no longer be allowed to do so. Tailgate Terrace tent holders will issued one parking pass to the Pace Hall Parking Lot adjacent to Luther Drive. While vehicles are not allowed, grills and generators will be allowed. Electricity and cable is not provided. Each tent customer will be provided with two tables, 10 chairs and two trash cans.
HANDICAPPED PARKING: Troy fans attending games with valid handicapped parking decals will now park in the North Stadium Lot adjacent to the football practice fields. There will no longer be handicapped parking on the Armory property across George Wallace Drive.
TEXT MESSAGE SERVICE: Once inside Veterans Memorial Stadium, all fans will have access to a new Text service to inform athletics department staff members of any problems that may encounter during their time at the game. Fans can text the keyword "Troy" to 69050 on their mobile device. After the keyword, provide information on your problem and your location and someone will be dispatched to assist.
